Live Chef is the passionate collaboration of professional chef Jennifer Powrie and passionate foodie Melinda Trembath. Jennifer has dedicated the last 17 years of her career to cooking with plant based foods and natural clean ingredients. She has led the way with a range of successful vegan meals, vegan pies and dry pantry products. Melinda, a Coeliac and passionate foodie, has spent the last 16 years at the helm of Melinda’s Gluten Free Goodies and has now come together with Jennifer to create a new range of plant-based vegan easy meals for the retail and foodservice markets.
As a vegetarian herself for over 22 years Jennifer loves to experiment with all kinds of flavours to bring food to life. She also has her own testimony of how a “healthy plant based diet” had many positive benefits in her life. Jennifer is also a qualified NDIS Service Provider and includes her clients in her Live Chef mobile cooking demonstrations and in-store tastings of the Life Chef Easy Meal range.
A percentage of profits from the Live Chef range is invested into community projects to better the lives of our disadvantaged community and bulk stock is supplied to humanitarian food reliefs programs in locations such as Papua New Guinea where access to food is scarce.
